Triumphs

We have lost count of how many Triumph TRs we have rebuilt over the last 20 years. We have also rebuilt many Spitfires and GT models...

In 2015 we moved to modern purpose built workshops. At any time our experienced staff can be working on up to 20 cars doing jobs from complete rebuilds to repairs and routine seasonal servicing...

Engines

Over the years we have rebuilt hundreds of engines. We have extensive expertise in engines dating from the turn of the century although we draw the line at modern supercars as we do not have the necessary diagnostic equipment for them. If in doubt please ask.

Bodywork Repairs & Resprays

The bodywork forms the main structure of your classic car and it is vital that it is sound and correctly aligned before any paint is applied. Our bodywork repairs include the removal of ALL parts of old rusty panels that are being renewed. This is vital to prevent the recurrence of rust problems & to achieve good panel alignment. Many repairers save costs by leaving peripheral parts of old panels behind and simply fitting new ones over the top. This is always a false economy.

When new panels are needed but are not available, we have the skills and equipment to make new ones to pattern. We also have the necessary skills & equipment to deal with the ash frames on older cars and aluminium panels.

We work with various well-chosen long-term sub-contractors for our resprays and fully guarantee the end results. Spraying can involve the whole car or just a few panels. We mostly use 2-Pack paints these days as the supplies of Cellulose have almost completely dried up and what remains is of poorer quality (largely due to new EU Solvent Regulations). Modern 2-Pack paint is very cellulose-like in appearance; polish-ability & quality and we find that most people can’t tell the difference between it and cellulose in practice.
